NatCap Buyer Marketing Consultant (3-5 months contract)
About the job
We are looking for a Consultant: NatCap Buyer Marketing to take a fresh and perhaps disruptive approach to how to increase the buyer pool for natural capital. This will support the implementation of ambitious nature recovery projects, accelerate the transition to regenerative business, and support Great Yellow’s commercial growth over a short but critical period.
You will design and execute targeted initiatives and campaigns to attract more NatCap buyers. Working closely with our Markets and Commercial leaders, you’ll refine our go-to-market approach and be hands-on in engaging corporate buyers of natural capital outcomes.
This role also includes a strategic component: helping us define the scope and profile of a long-term Marketing Leader, planned for 2026, and shaping how marketing and communications can best support Great Yellow’s growth.
Key responsibilities
Campaign design & execution: Propose, design, and deliver marketing initiatives and campaigns that directly attract NatCap buyers to our project portfolio.
Buyer-focused GTM strategy: Collaborate with the Markets team (Martin, Izzie) and SVP Commercial (Al) to define and strengthen our outreach and buyer engagement approach.
Cross-functional alignment: Work with Communications (Honor) and Operations to ensure campaigns align with our developing marketing and brand strategy.
Future-proofing: Provide recommendations on what Great Yellow should look for in a permanent Marketing Leader, shaping the role for 2026.
About you
We’re looking for a marketer with both hands-on campaign experience and the ability to think strategically and disruptively about go-to-market models in a fast-moving start-up in a nascent industry.
7+ years of experience in marketing in B2B solutions, sustainability, finance, or a mission-driven industry. The ideal candidate would have some experience with B2B stakeholders in large UK corporates and utilities companies
Proven hands-on ability to design and run campaigns that drive lead generation and buyer engagement.
Experience working with sales/commercial teams to refine messaging and outreach.
Strong collaboration skills and comfort working across functions.
